In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Residents of California. Must be of Latinx descent.
  2. High school seniors or first- and second-year college/trade school students.
  3. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Description: At Jacoby & Meyers, located in Southern California, we strive to offer our clients the highest quality service with our knowledgeable team of experienced personal injury attorneys. Our office and team handle everything from the initiation of your case against a liable defendant until your case has settled. We pursue high settlements on behalf of our clients as well as fair and just recoveries to compensate them for their past and future medical expenses, loss of earnings, and pain and suffering. In wrongful death cases, we also present a loss of consortium claim where warranted.

Additional Information: We invite applicants to write an original essay of 350-500 words on the following prompt: How has your Hispanic background influenced your goals for higher education? Please elaborate on your commitment to making a positive impact through community service. Submit an unofficial copy of high school and/or college transcripts to showcase your academic achievements and commitment to excellence. Note: Your submission should reflect your passion, insights, and aspirations, providing the scholarship committee with a comprehensive understanding of your dedication to the Latinx community and how you plan to contribute positively to its growth and development.

Award Amount: Chosen applicant will receive $5,000.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.
